We are always looking for experienced and knowledgeable technicians and salespeople to join our expanding staff.
What We Look For:
Abilities:
- Prepare for security/fire alarm installations by reviewing installation orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools.
- Establish security/fire alarm system by installing equipment; running and pulling wiring; programming and calibrating equipment; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
- Verify security/fire alarm system functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals; identifying and correcting problems.
- Maintain records by documenting installation.
- Maintain customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions.
- Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential.
Skills/Qualifications:
- At least three (3) years of experience in the fire alarm and electronic security industry; Knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), IBC 2006 and ADA.
- Safety Management, Equipment Service / Maintenance, Functional and Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Electronic Systems, ADA Requirements, Verbal Communication, Dealing with Complexity, Informing Others
- NICET Certification Desired.
- Must have a valid Driver's License
