Founded in 1964 in Leonia, New Jersey, Bergen Protective Systems quickly grew and expanded into a major regional security systems provider.  Since its inception, the fundamental principles of the company have never wavered or been compromised.

Those principles were to ensure the safety and security of all clients and their possessions by making sure that all installations were and are completed in accordance with applicable codes and requirements.  As a measure of our commitment to quality and excellence, Bergen Protective Systems is a U.L.® Listed company, as well as a member of the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), the NJBFAA (New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association) and the AFAA (Automatic Fire Alarm Association).  Our Founder and President, Joseph F. Cioffi, Jr. was one of the founders of the New Jersey Alarm Association (now the New Jersey Burglar and Fire Alarm Association) and served as the organization's first president.

Today, Bergen Protective Systems is located in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, having expanded to a new facility to meet the needs of clients.  With a professional and competent sales and technical staff, we are committed to addressing our clients' needs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
